On 3 February 2025 the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced that the allowed period for uploading wage protection files on Mudad would change from 60 days to 30 days, effective 1 March 2025.
According to the Ministry, establishments will submit files for the previous month only, to ensure accuracy and adherence to agreed wages, noting that 91% of establishments already upload within this period.
